Did you know that Mammoth Mountain just earned the “Best Terrain Park of 2014” award from ‘On The Snow’? Pretty awesome to know that you are riding on world class runs & parks when you visit Mammoth.
The Mountain opened last Thursday, with a sprinkling of snow, which was perfect for the opening celebrations. Today there was a base depth of 14-18”, with 4 trails open and 3 trails groomed. Not bad for mid November!
June Mountain is schedule to open December 13th (weather permitting), so if you have the Cali4nia pass, you can head on over to June for their opening day too!

( 3 / 6005 )The lucky bunch of skiers and boarders in Mammoth last night must have prayed hard before bed, because Mother Nature certainly got the message. Light snow fell as the Mountain opened this morning, making the opening day celebration and kick off events absolutely awesome!
Opening this morning with a base depth of 12-16 inches at Main Lodge, and a season total of 22 inches, this ski season is starting off stellar. Cold temperatures are great for snowmaking, along with the beautiful efforts from Mother Nature, we are sure to see great conditions ahead.
This is just Day 1 of the Mountain being open; so imagine the possibilities of what’s to come. Good times with family and friends in a wonderful town, skiing and boarding on some of the best terrain in the country.

Santa and Woolly will arrive to light the Village Christmas Tree at 6pm, plus pictures and Christmas wishes in Santa World. Also enjoy music with The Mark Sexton Band, the Stilt Circus stilt walkers, Juggler & a Magician.
Saturday Nov 29th – from 3-5:30pm, you can visit Santa and Woolly in Santa World for pictures and Christmas wishes. Along with The Mark Sexton Band & the Stilt Circus stilt walkers.

I have read all kinds of vacation rental management programs and every single last one of them collects the money from the renter and then the management company hangs on to your money for weeks and sometimes months. Why? It’s your property and it’s your rental why are they hanging onto to what belongs to you? Well, here is what I have concluded some use your money to cover their operating costs (this is scary) and others use your money to invest and get returns. I am sure there is a third and fourth plan for your money too. In any scenario you lose out :(

Weather is calling for a high of 52, periods of sun & clouds, and a low of 20. The mountain looks beautifully covered for the beginning of November, it’s going to be an awesome opening day!
For you park riders, word on the hill is that Chair 1 is going to be open taking us up to Broadway and the Upper Main Park, with a few jibs and one jump open.
If you have not purchased your Cali4nia pass yet, you still can for $799 and start using it Thursday. The price will increase up to $999 on 11/17, so if you are thinking about it, just do it now!
