Very Cool Gesture by Rusty Gregory.
As an MVP Season Pass holder I was very disappointed thus far this year with the ability to use my pass as the snow conditions were "poor" at best. But then the snow came and things were great again. Now the good part Season MVP pass holders received an email from Rusty Gregory that was surprising and also welcomed. Thank you Rusty.

"I'm looking out my window at the top of the mountain as I write this and for the first time this season it looks like a real Mammoth Mountain winter. February is off to a big start with nearly 5 feet of new snow. Avalanche control work has just finished and skiers and riders are ripping up the powder under blue skies. 100% of Mammoth Mountain and most of the June Mountain terrain is now skiable and all lifts will be open at Mammoth as soon as we can shovel them out. I'll make this short because I want to get out of my office and on the mountain to try out my new powder skis for the first time this season.
I have often said that MVP members are our most loyal customers and most important guests. You're the reason that our operating crews have worked so hard on snowmaking in order to keep the mountain open top to bottom despite Mother Nature's lack of cooperation earlier this season. To put some money where my mouth is and to celebrate Mammoth Mountain's 60th Anniversary, I have asked our Marketing Department to give all adult and senior MVP members a $60 gift card to spend on anything we sell, including next year's MVP which goes on sale late March. Pick yours up at one of the base lodge ticket windows by April 30th. View the website for details.
President's Weekend is only days away so make your plans to join me on the hill this weekend and for the remainder of what is shaping up to be a long winter and spring ski and snowboard season from here on.
Hope to see you soon."

Best Regards,
Rusty

60" of New powder in 72hours
Winter just finished a long weekend in Mammoth, covering the mountain with nearly 60" of fresh snow in 72 hours. The massive storm will allow us to open all lifts and all trails by the weekend-that's 100% open!

The skiing and riding is the best it has been all year. Now is the time to plan a vacation to Mammoth to experience our winter wonderland.
