"I'm looking out my window at the top of the mountain as I write this and for the first time this season it looks like a real Mammoth Mountain winter. February is off to a big start with nearly 5 feet of new snow. Avalanche control work has just finished and skiers and riders are ripping up the powder under blue skies. 100% of Mammoth Mountain and most of the June Mountain terrain is now skiable and all lifts will be open at Mammoth as soon as we can shovel them out. I'll make this short because I want to get out of my office and on the mountain to try out my new powder skis for the first time this season.
I have often said that MVP members are our most loyal customers and most important guests. You're the reason that our operating crews have worked so hard on snowmaking in order to keep the mountain open top to bottom despite Mother Nature's lack of cooperation earlier this season.
