Did you know how National Volunteer Week came about? National Volunteer Week was established in 1974, promoted and encouraged by Government, Congress, Mayors and Governor’s and everyday people volunteering. The purpose was to show and lead by example. Taking pride in volunteering for something, somewhere anything. A way to draw people together and have amazing outcomes and impacts. National Volunteer Week is about encouraging people to get out and volunteer in their local communities and be a part of a new social change. Become an AMAZING, INSPIRING and ENCOURAGING part your local community TODAY. Go out there, wherever you are, and Volunteer and pass your good deeds forward!
