New series called "Truth or BS" send your votes in and at the end of the week we will share how you voted and reveal the actual answer on the Blog. Be prepared to LOL and be amazed!!! They get pretty crazy so we will start of with some mild ones first to acclimate you to our reservation altitude.

Story line: Straws and sheets

Guest emails to inquire about a property.
Otis replies via email.
Otis: Thank you for your inquiry. Listing #*** is available for the dates you requested and the total cost of your stay is $1,345.22.
Guest: That’s a great price and the unit looks lovely. What time is check-in?
Otis : 4pm
Guest: That time works perfectly!
Otis: Would you like me to book this unit for you?
Guest: Yes, but before I book it I have a couple of questions. We need straws in all the room. Q Tips in jars in the bathrooms and I know it sounds weird but we really can’t use sheets. We don’t mind paying extra for the straws and Q-tips and have the sheets removed.
Otis: (puzzled????) We can provide the unit with straws and Q Tips but as for the sheets those need to remain on the beds for hygiene reasons.
Guest: I know it’s weird but we really don’t like sheets. Their scratchy and just don’t feel good. Thanks for the straws and Q Tips but I just don’t know what we are going to do about the sheets.
Otis: The quality of our linens is exceptional and we have not had any guests complain. In particular this unit the owner uses the highest grade of linens that our housekeeping provides. I can’t image that you would not be comfortable.
Guest: Well??????? I just don’t know. Do you really think the linens will be soft, silky and comfortable?
Otis: We have never had any complaints about the linens.
Guest: But I have found sleeping on the mattress more comfortable then sleeping on sheets.
Otis (dumbfounded not knowing really how to reply). Unfortunately, there needs to be sheets on the beds for cleanliness reasons for all our guests.
Guest: I guess I understand that but we really don’t like sheets. Are they organic?
Otis: (thinking …..this is a weird inquiry). At this time the sheets we use are not Organic.
Guest: If we can get Organic sheet then we will consider sheets. We don’t mind paying the difference. Can we do that?
Otis: Yes we can purchase Organic sheets.
Guest: What would be the cost, out the door including our special needs.
Otis: The price for your stay will be $*********
Guest: That's marvelous! Thanks lets book it now.
