El Nino Update, and the chances are...

According to the National Weather Service, as of September 29th, the chances of El Nino happening this winter are 65%! The light dusting that Mammoth Mountain and the Sierra's received this past weekend show us that we are off to a good start!

Previous El Nino years indicators are pointing us in a positive direction, with the warm ocean temps, large swells & multiple storms and especially the major influx of sea life along the Southern California coast this summer, puts us on track to an El Nino year!

El Nino updates occur every Monday from the Climate Prediction Center! I never thought I would say this, but I love Mondays now!
