Story line: Isn’t today Sunday?
Vote: Truth or BS
Employee: " Good morning this is Lexi , how can I help you?"
Housekeeping: "This is housekeeping. We are at Listing #XXX and the guests have not left, they are nowhere in sight and there are new guests checking in this afternoon!” (sounds a little panicked).
Employee: "OK, I’ll contact the guest immediately and find out what’s going on! ( Employee emails, texts and leaves several voicemail messages.
Several hours pass it is now 5pm the same day.
Guest: "I got a call from your office this morning that was urgent. We were on the mountain and I just got your message. What’s going on?”
Employee: (Finally a very quiet sigh) “Sir do you realize that you were supposed to check out this morning at 10am?”
Guest: "No. We booked the townhouse through Sunday night and are scheduled to leave Monday morning!”
Employee: "Sir, today is Monday afternoon? “
Guest: : “Are you sure today isn't Sunday?”
Employee: “Yes I am. Today is Monday.”
Guest: “ Sh*t , Oh my God!!!! (in disbelief) I am so sorry I thought today was Sunday. Well pack up right now!”
Employee: “ No need, it’s too late in the day and the other guests have already arrived. We have placed them in a different unit. We can take care of the additional changes now if you like for the additional day.”
Guest: ‘ Yes, yes of course. I am so sorry I was sure today was Sunday."
Did this guest and his party of 9 really forgot what day it was? Was this phone conversation a "Truth or BS?"
