Mammoth's Marathon Runners one of the best!

The L.A marathon for long now has been a tradition in all across for many to come Run, Walk, and Jog and accomplish the 26 mile adventure across L.A. area. Many go for the challenge itself and others who just enjoy running with the massive crowd and taking part the energy there and accomplishment.

Turns out Mammoth Track Club has got some Great runners you have just this past weekend have turned in some of the fastest running times for Americans!

Proctor, also of the Mammoth Track Club, finished sixth in his first-ever marathon. It was the best time by any American in the race, which was dominated by Ethiopians in both the men's and women's races.

It was an appropriate finish for the Mammoth runners. Last week, ASICS, the title sponsor of the L.A. Marathon, added the Mammoth Track Club to its stable of teams, giving it training and financial boosts.

Mammoth's most famous marathoner, Deena Kastor, called the action for KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. Her husband, Andrew, is the coach of the team.
