WINTER ACTIVITIES
World class skiing and snowboarding on Mammoth and June Mountains are the most popular winter activities here.
However Mono County offers much more, including dog sledding (a traditional means of transportation here since the 1930s), snowmobiling to forest lookouts, cross-country skiing on miles of groomed track and lanes, snowshoeing across vast and scenic plains, and one of the most renowned ice climbing venues in North America. Hope you all had a scrumptious Thanksgiving.....see you on the Slopes!
