Heavy rain, mountain snow, forecast for Pacific Northwest
A series of storms will impact the Pacific Northwest over the next several days, bringing heavy mountain snowfall and a prolonged rain event across the region. The forecasts are showing strong to very strong incidence for the Dec, Jan and possibly Feb 2016.
What does this all mean?.........This next series of storms beginning Thursday will move further south than the last series and bring several feet of snow to the Mono County Sierra beginning Thursday.

The snow storm scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) in California will be dropping from British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and Oregon, and then stalling in California. Effectively sending a powerful wave of energy and snow to the Sierras. The temperatures will be COOOOOLD in the negative numbers. A second storm on this storms heels next weekend possibly.
