Did you know that a single snowstorm can drop up to 40 million tons of snow? In 2010/2011 Mammoth got over 650 inches of snow. So what are you waiting for? That's why I gettin' to Mammoth as soon as I can. Don't want to miss a single snow flake what about you?

FYI: Forecast November looks very cloudy with snow flurries (11,13,14,17,18,19,22,23 & 29) and December has a lots of snow forecasted. Don't know about you but I'm headed to Mammoth. Thank you El Nino and Mother Nature for the Halloween treat last night of 13" of new snow at Main Lodge and more is still coming down. Mammoth Mountain snowmaking crews are out and adding even more to the base. Wahoo!

Who's ready for some snow?!

Halloween can't get much happier, when the weather forecast in Mammoth for tonight and tomorrow looks like this. 8-12 inches expected!


When your checking your kids candy later tonight after Trick or Treating be sure to sneak a few of the Mini Snickers and Twix Bars, and stash them in your Snowboarding jacket. Those will be a little piece of heaven when you find them in just 12 days...when the Mountain opens - YES! Have a safe & happy weekend; enjoy the weather, its going to be awesome!
