According to the latest update, snow will begin to fall tonight over the Sierra’s and snow levels may drop to 5500 feet over the weekend. With the highest likely hood of snow and most accumulation being on Sunday.
Forecast looks awesome and promising for December, with another big storm slated for New Years week!
Tonight in the Village is the Tree Lighting from 3pm - 7pm, and the fun continues into December! Wollys Tube Park will open on the 12th, the Amazing Night of Lights on the 20th, and much more Holiday Festivities all over town.

The Mammoth Ice Rink is an outdoor facility located at 416 Sierra Park Road adjacent to the Mammoth Lakes Library. The facility offers recreational skating 7-days a week from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Amenities include skate sharpening (2 for 1 special until 12/19/14), skate rentals, snack and beverage services, restrooms, a heated changing room, and outdoor gas heaters.
Adults can skate for $12.00/session with rentals; youth, seniors and military personnel pay only $9.50/session with rentals; and kids 4 and under skate free (rentals $3.50) with a paid adult.

( 3 / 3420 )If you are lucky enough to be in Mammoth already for Thanksgiving week, you will be stoked tomorrow! Mammoth Mountain will be opening Stump Alley Express, wooo whooo! The Lower Gondola is operating for skiing and riding and the Upper Gondola is operating for Scenic Rides only.
If you are a Mountain newbie or an Old Timer, I highly recommend taking the Scenic Gondola ride to the top! It takes my breath away every time! Not just because I am scared going up to 11,053 feet, but its just so amazingly beautiful. Enjoy the view from the top!
Weather is calling for more cold temps in the night (great for snowmaking) and possible snow next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday!
