On Saturday, November 9, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, our Mammoth ski resort will host the Snowflake Art Show featuring acclaimed artist Cole McLaughlin. Hailing from Los Angeles, with roots in Mammoth, McLaughlin founded his art/design company, Revello Metal Craft, fifteen years ago. The snowflake exhibit has been years in the making for McLaughlin, and will feature nearly 50 giant metal snowflake pieces. Two original pieces of art will also be raffled off during the event and proceeds will benefit the Kelly Clark Foundation.

The bone chilling anticipation of Halloween is here! Gather up your ghosts and goblins and head over to Mammoth’s legendary Haunted House on October 26th! This amazing Halloween event is hosted by The Town of Mammoth Lakes Recreation Department and in conjunction with the Village. Admission is free and game tickets are only .50 cents each…this is not a trick but a treat! You can even purchase an all access pass for only $20. The witching hour begins at 6 pm and ends at 9 pm. All proceeds from this festival will go to support the Town of Mammoth Lakes Recreation Department. What a fantastic event to share with family and friends! Happy Halloween!

Get out those calendars! Opening Day for Mammoth Lakes Ski Season is only 15 days away! Unfortunately there is no stopping summer from packing it up for the year, but what Mammoth Mountain has in store for the ski season will bring winter in with a blowout. You can’t miss the Big Winter Kick Off Bash for opening weekend! The fun begins on Thursday November 7th at the base of Broadway Express. Then catch the first chair of the 2013/2014 winter season at 8:30 am! Don’t take the chance and miss out on all the events that will be planned for this awesome weekend!

Haunted Rink Skate Party

Time: 6 pm to 9 pm
Going to be in Mammoth the weekend before Halloween and looking for something fun to do? Then head over to the Mammoth Roller Rink for a Haunted Halloween party! That’s right! A haunted party on skates! This party will include a few carnival games such as hit the witch, evil clown throw, and the famous fairy and dragon realm. In addition to these awesome games there will be various cakewalks and food vendors paraded throughout the night so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to participate and enjoy some fantastic food!
The Zamboni shed may also contain some scary zombified hockey players so enter at your own risk…
Admission is $5 per person and this includes skate rentals while they last and this recreation has lots of fun prizes for everyone! So grab your kids and head to the rink!
