Halloween can't get much happier, when the weather forecast in Mammoth for tonight and tomorrow looks like this. 8-12 inches expected!
When your checking your kids candy later tonight after Trick or Treating be sure to sneak a few of the Mini Snickers and Twix Bars, and stash them in your Snowboarding jacket. Those will be a little piece of heaven when you find them in just 12 days...when the Mountain opens - YES! Have a safe & happy weekend; enjoy the weather, its going to be awesome!

Throwing it back to 1983. Check out the “vintage” Mammoth t-shirt on this handsome little guy! I found this picture a couple days ago, and was so stoked to see my brother showing Mammoth Pride way back in the early 80’s.
Someone needs to tell these guys to relax and take trip to Mammoth! We have best cabins, best locations, best prices, that should help take the edge off anyone. Even in the Wild Wild West!

Talking about the upcoming chance of snow this Saturday, making snow themed crafts, downloading weather apps, tracking El Nino, tracking Wolly, booking cabins, dusting off ski’s, waxing snowboards, you name it, I'm sticking a Mammoth sticker on it and yelling Mammoth Rocks!

Mammoth Snowfall Outlook (how they come up with this stuff is beyond explanation), but 8.5 inches of water is expected in November, which makes 85 inches of snow – sounds good to me!
With an additional 1.5 inches of water to fall from December 1 – December 10.
So in the next 40 days or so, that is a total of 10 inches of rain, which for some reason works out to 8 feet of snow…by December 10th!
