Otis: "Hello this is Otis with Mammoth Rental By Owner. How can I help you today
Guest: "Hi I’m staying in one of the units for a night. Calling leaving you aware of an issue I had”.
Otis: “OK, how can I help you out
Guest: "Well my daughter and two of the other children keep on accidentally lock us out of the 2nd floor bathroom. It has interior twist lock"
Otis:" I see, OK. Well is there any way you can relay to them to be very cautious of that and or also some tape on the interior door handle where the twist lock is”
Guest: “That’s a good idea. Well I took the drill out my truck and removed the both of the bathroom doors, downstairs and upstairs so that’s wouldn’t happen again"
Otis: "OK, I’m not sure you should be doing that sir, that doesn’t sound good "
Guest: "I put them on the balcony and covered it in a tarp?"
Otis: "Yea sir this may be a problem. I think we could reach a different solution, like the tape on the back of the twist lock and or a written sign as well.”
Guest: “Yea no worries, I’m a contractor and so uh I’ve this taken care of. I went ahead and rearranged some furniture while I’m here to better accommodate myself as well. I put the place back together before we head out of here "
Otis: "Put the place back together??. You took the unit apart? Sir, it shows you checked in yesterday, you’ve already taken the place apart? "J
Guest:” Well yea a few alterations"
Otis: "Yea, I don’t know about that sir, it’s a rental not a re-model" J
Guest: "It’s my job”
Otis: "I understand but it’s also a rental unit not a re-model and you should be on vacation relaxing, not remodeling. I’m going to have to pass you to my supervisor regarding these alterations"
Guest: "I’m a contractor”
Otis: “Please hold sir”
Did this Guest really think it’d be ok the move furniture all around in rental condo unit for a 1 night stay? The children keep locking the bathroom door and he drills and unhinges the doors off? Stores them on the balcony. OK you’re a Contractor? It’s a one night stay? Truth or BS?

They hover around gently but they can travel distances over 3000 miles. Each year over a million Monarch butterflies have massive migration through California and many other parts of the world. Monarchs butterflies are actively fluttering about around this being it’s mating season. Migrating of Monarchs begins along the coast in October and by November most Monarchs have found their winter homes. The Female Butterflies disperse flying inland, looking for early sprouts of milkweed to lay their eggs. By winter they abandon these areas. On the cold days, if it's 57 degrees or below or cloudy days, the clusters of butterflies will not break up.
With so many scenic places in Mammoth to see, now you can also enjoy the butterflies hovering about here. Just the wide open mountains and nature it at its best!
