New changes on the way for Nomadness

Mammoth Rental by Owner is soon to become Nomadness Rentals. As we expand into new locations and get ready to introduce a new website by the end of the month, we can't help but reflect on our roots as a company.

Starting off nearly a decade ago as a small, family-owned business with a few properties in Mammoth, we never thought so many exciting opportunities could be in store. But by April, we're planning on introducing our new mobile-responsive website. The new website will embody a more contemporary and user-friendly interface, which will allow renters to more easily share, search, and book the properties that suit them best. It will also establish a more interactive database for new and existing homeowners that will allow for maximal customization of their management packages and a simpler sign-up process.

New locations will also be a key feature, with Oceanside, Hawaii, Malibu, and other coastal cities being amongst the new destinations. So stay tuned and visit www.NomadnessRentals.com in a few weeks to witness the exciting new changes.

Six feet of pow...for now!

Over six of snow have made their way to Mammoth over the last 72 hours, breaking the 300 inch season total mark. Up until today, this season's snowfall has trumped the total snowfall amounts since 2010. Forecasters and snow enthusiasts are calling it "Miracle March" and so far, the storm has brought up to 66 inches of snowfall.

This isn't the end of it, either. Forecasters are expecting another four to five feet of snow over the upper elevations starting Saturday night. The mountains upon mountains of snow make Mammoth the ideal place to be these next couple of weeks, with tons of activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling in their peak season.

If you'd like to enjoy the unexpected snowfall for yourself, check out our midweek deals for an opportunity to get up to half off your stay.

Midweek Sierra Storm on the horizon?

It's been calm whether in Mammoth for a few days, but forecasters are thinking it may not be wise to get to used to it! It looks like Mother Nature may unload some unexpected pow on us soon. Winds will be kicking up and temperatures will be dropping come Saturday morning into Sunday night. These light winds and breezes might act as a predecessor to some midweek dumping, but few details are still known. According to forecasters, more info should become available about this new storm system coming in within the next couple of days. In the meantime, I guess we'll hang tight and keep skiing!

Enjoy your holiday weekend, mountain lovers. See you on the slopes.

Love is in the air

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, lovebirds! And Mammoth seems to be readying up to welcome its guests for the three-day weekend. It'll be bluebird skies this weekend, with still superb skiing and light, fresh, fluffy powder. While the temperatures are expected to be in the 50s, there will still be fresh snow on the mountain. All lifts and trails will be open, so you and your sweetheart can hit the slopes!

Also, Woolly's Tube Park & Snowplay will be open for some electric tubing fun on Sunday night. Music and refreshments in the snow under the glow of nighttime will provide a romantic and adventure-filled atmosphere.

If all this sounds enticing, but you still don't have plans for Valentine's Day, we've got great condos still available for you for Sunday night only. If you book one of our three Valentine's special condos, which you can click here to view, you will receive a free box of chocolates and bouquet of flowers when you arrive at your unit.
