Get on Up for the US Grand Prix in Mammoth
The Sprint US Grand Prix is coming to Mammoth February 4 - 7. Get front row seats to this nationally televised contest and watch the top male and female athletes go big in Halfpipe and Slopestyle events in Mammoth’s Unbound's Main Park and Super Duper Pipe! Competing for the main prize of $400k in cash. Events start on Feb 4th, but the best action is the finals on Friday and Saturday.

One of my favorite parts, aside from the awesome vibe and sick runs by world class athletes, is the Vendor Village, just off Main Lodge Sundeck. Pick up cool swag, win prizes and mingle with the athletes. Vendor Village will be open from Thursday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm featuring sweet gear from Good Year, JB Wool, Big Truck, GoPro, Smart Wool, Cheez-It, Paul Mitchell and more!

You can take the FREE Red Line Shuttle from The Village up to Main Lodge, and watch the action from the Sundeck or grab a spot at the base of the Super Duper Pipe or along the fence line in Main Park!

Check out our super duper specials on sweet condo's, now offering 30% off. We have condo's near the Village, Eagle, or in town. If you need to be near the Red Line to take you up to the action, we've gotcha! #mammoth395 #mammothmountain #getonup #mammothspecials #mammothunbound

What a way to get over the hump...
Watching Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell make the climb up El Capitan, the 3,000 foot sheer-granite wall in Yosemite is amazing. When they make it to the top later this afternoon they will be the first in history to climb it with only using their hands and feet.

They began their climb on December 27th, and now 19 days later their dreams will become a reality when they make it to the top. So many inspirational tweets, posts and pictures from their journey. Many of us have been to Yosemite before and have viewed this beautiful force of nature, and stood at the bottom to witness the sheer volume of massiveness it holds. Truly amazing, congrats to Kevin and Tommy for inspiring us all to take risks, and conquer your dreams.

Have you checked out the official Mammoth Mountain app yet? Its super awesome, whether you are in Mammoth, or heading up soon, it will really make for the best mountain experience. It features a GPS enabled trail map, which helps you find your location and see where your friends are on the hill. The app also offers live weather conditions, daily resort video reports, live webcams and lift reports. This app is free for iPhone and iPad.

Another cool app is the iTrailMap app which lets you track your day with GPS. The app works for any type of travel including snowshoeing, skiing and boarding. There are more than 750 interactive resort maps, including our favorite, Mammoth Mountain. Maps do not need cell phone service to works, since they are downloaded and stored and can be accessed even when you are out of service. Super awesome! Free for iPhone, or $4.99 for the 3D version.

We still have a few cabins left for Martin Luther King weekend & Presidents weekend, but they are going fast. Check our website for discounted properties – save up to 30%.
