What a big weekend in Mammoth!
Everyone in Mammoth was witness to a late season miracle, as the Mountain received a foot of fresh powder over this past weekend! Skiers and boarders enjoyed great spring conditions, especially Sunday morning when waking up to Blue Bird Skies.

Even though the snow fell, the Fishing Opener in the Mammoth area still took place. The lakes were stocked with fish, and the fisherman were bundled up to withstand the bizarre weather. It was a success and a ton of fun, no matter what the storm brought.

The weather looks amazing for this week, absolutely beautiful. Book your next trip now and save either 40% on properties through Memorial Day weekend. Yes, you can get the 40% off on a holiday!! Or 30% off on other select properties through June 30th! So much happening in May, get on up there and have some fun! #mammothmountain #aprilsnow #memorialdaysavings

Are you Ready for the Fishing Opener this Saturday?
Just 3 days till the 2015 Fishing Opener. If you are an old pro and have been to Mammoth for years for the Opener, then Welcome Back. But if you are a newbie to the fishing scene in the Eastern Sierra, here are a couple tips to catch some tail.

*Get a fishing license. Everyone must have a California state fishing license. They are easy to obtain (little bit of info & a small fee) and are sold locally at The Troutfitter, Kittredge Sports, and Rick’s Sport Center in town.

*Know where to go. The best spots to fish this early in the season are on one of the many lakes in the area: Crowley Lake, Convict Lake, Twin Lakes Mammoth, June Lake, or Twin Lakes Bridgeport.

*Get a good app: Download Fishhead for your iphone or Android for the latest updates on tides, weather, and stream flows; all you need to decide what’s hot and where the fish are hungry.

Remember we have great lodging at 30-40% off, close to the lakes, in town or near the Village! Just call or email us, or check out our website for everything Mammoth!
