Weather Wednesday!
Snow is in the forecast for this weekend up in Mammoth, and the National Weather Service has said that abundant moisture in the Pacific will bring moderate to heavy rain and snow to the Pacific Northwest starting Wednesday. The moisture will spread into northern California on Thursday and is expected to continue through the weekend.

Long story short: snow is expected for the Sierras & Mammoth on Friday and Saturday, thank goodness! Our snow dancing is working, keep it up!

Don’t forget to catch some awesome Ski and Snowboard competition action during the Sprint US Grand Prix happening this weekend too. Head to the Main Lodge & Unbound’s Main Park and Super Duper Pipe to see sick runs by world class competitors. Also at the Main Deck is ”Vendor Village” where you can get your paws on some sweet swag and possibly rub elbows with some of the pro’s.

Have fun and send us some pics! We'd love to share your stories of good times had in Mammoth. Send them to info@mammoth395.com and we'll include you on our "stories" page. Keep the snow dances going... #mammoth395 #mammothmountain #mammothsnow #shareyourstories

Gearing up for a Trip with the Kiddo's?
For all you So Cal Residents that are looking forward “SKI WEEK” coming up at the end of February, and you haven’t booked your vacation home yet, we have great properties still available. Suitable for just your lovely family, or large enough for 2 families! Why not head up to Mammoth and let the kids loose for a few days?

Kids ages 5-12 can ski and board for only $35 a day and kiddo’s under 4 can ski for FREE! If this is the first trip with the kids, not to worry. Leave the lessons to the professionals and sign them up for the Mammoth Mountain awesome ski school.

With world class professional instructors, the kids can spend a ½ day or full day on the slopes with buddies their age, lift ticket and lunch included. No need to show them the ropes of the slopes, let Wolly and his crew take care of that. If you reserve the kids ski school spot in advance you can save as much as $19 per child; enough for a burger and beer at the chalet :) #mammothmountain #mammoth395 #mammothkids #familyfun

Mammoth Mountain got a healthy dusting of snow last night, and more is expected throughout today and tonight. It gets better – even more is expected to come this Thursday and Friday.

Day temps are mild, but it sure is cold over night, so snow making crews have remained busy; the Mountain is covered from top to bottom. It's ready to ride!

Call or email us for the inside scoop on anything Mammoth: weather, road conditions, great places to stay, eat and drink, winter activities off the mountain, ski rentals...anything. We live, love and breathe Mammoth :)

Thoughts for Thursday
Take a day, or afternoon off the hill and head to the Village. Either with the kids, the girls, the guys, the parents, whoever is in your crew there is always something to do.

With so many beautiful retail shops, great restaurants, fun bars, and Mammoth Mountain stores filled with logo wear, there is something for everyone!

Drop the dudes off for drinks at: Gomez, Lakanuki, Side Bar, Stoneyard, Campo or Sushi Rei

Let the ladies loose at Quicksilver, First Street Leather, Mammoth Memories, Trendy Tots & Tweens

Set the kids up in the courtyard playing games like Bean Bag Toss, Bolo or Giant Jenga

End the day with everyone at one of the three fire-pits, along with a “S’more” making kit from the Village front desk. Take a little time to enjoy the peace and beauty of Mammoth Lakes; listen to wind blow through the trees, smell the clean air, and relax… :)
