80% chance of El Nino through 2015!

Have you heard??? There is an approximately 90% chance that El Niño will continue through Northern Hemisphere summer 2015, and a greater than 80% chance it will last through 2015.

These are amazing percentages and we have not had these numbers for a number or years. This means rain and snow and lots of it. The weather models are constantly being adjusted by NOAA and we will continue to bring you the latest but this is really good news!
For those of you how have been following our "offshore blob" story, could this be a key to the El Nino? Maybe we will have a repeat of the '77-'78 experience in California, where the dry spell was broken?
