Rental contracts are important for a number of reasons it lets your guests know what the rules and expectations are for your home. It also lets the guest know what to expect from your rental. Having a contract will give you and your guest peace of mind.

Contracts have some key elements that make them rock solid.

1. Address of your rental property.
2. Your contact information with phone number.
3. Minimum age of renters.
4. Maximum number of occupants(including children).
5. Cancellation policy including any penalties.
6. Security deposit or alternativies.
7. Pet policy and/or restrictions.
8. Check-in and check-out times.
9. Phone number to check on for road and weather
conditions.
10.Smoking policy and/or restrictions.
11.Indicate any special policy that is unique to your
rental.
12.Signature of renter with date.
